Automotive history is happening in Marysville, Ohio. Out of all the locations in the world, Honda selected its Marysville team to design, engineer, and build the first supercar on this side of the globe.
Honda introduced its next generation NSX supercar when rolling it off the line at the company’s Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Marysville. The company established the $70 million, 184,000 square foot PMC facility to produce the ultra high-tech vehicle specifically.
More than 200 employees work in the PMC, where each NSX is hand-assembled and built to order. Once at full production, the facility will produce only eight to 10 cars a day, each at a price tag of more than $155,000.
This high tech vehicle features a first-of-its-kind sport hybrid all-wheel drive power unit, advanced aerodynamics, and a cockpit that supports performance driving without sacrificing comfort. With nearly 600 horsepower from four motors, it can go from 0 to 60 mph in three seconds and reach a top speed of almost 200 mph. Watch this video to learn more about the Acura NSX.
