The time to show the appeal of Cleveland is now while we are in the national spotlight.
The 2016 Cleveland Host Committee is looking for up to 8,000 volunteer ambassadors eager to make a positive impression of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio to the 50,000 visitors (including 15,000 credentialed media) expected during the Republican National Convention, July 18-21, 2016.
Those committed to providing excellent visitor experiences during the Convention will show warm hospitality, answer questions about the area, and pass out Host Committee approved materials as greeters in airports, hotel lobbies, at transportation stops and other designated locations.
Prior to the Convention, groups of 25 or more will be needed for community beautification projects. Groups also are encouraged to select and lead an activity of choice during the Convention.
The Host Committee is a non-profit, non-political organization whose mission is to represent Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Volunteers will focus on helping to show the area in its very best light. There are no volunteer opportunities through the Host Committee inside of the arena during the Convention.
Visit the Host Committee’s volunteer website for more information on how you can get involved. To request information on group opportunities, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
