The heart of Cleveland is in the process of transformation as it readies for the Republican National Convention in July. One of the lead examples of the city’s renewal is Hilton Cleveland Downtown.
Poised to be a distinguished venue for meetings and conventions, excitement is building as the new hotel’s construction continues to be on schedule for its June 1 opening.
“We are thrilled to bring Hilton’s brand of warmth and hospitality to Cleveland and provide world-class amenities in the heart of downtown. We’re showcasing a new breed of Hilton and look forward to welcoming both locals and travelers alike to enjoy our breathtaking views of the Lake Erie waterfront and Cleveland skyline,” says General Manager, Teri Agosta.
Offering the unexpected
With 600 guest rooms, including 37 luxurious suites, Hilton Cleveland Downtown is designed with the details in mind. Multiple dining destinations, in-room amenities, and outstanding service are all within walking distance of some of the best attractions and nightlife Cleveland has to offer.
One of the property’s unique offerings is special fitness guest rooms in the hotel, including two designated yoga guest rooms as well as two cardio rooms. “We’re so excited to offer travelers both comfort and wellness in the privacy of their guest room,” said Agosta. If visitors are not booked in one of these fitness rooms, they can access the fitness center 24 hours a day as well as the indoor pool.
But, what may surprise the visitor is the diverse culinary scene within the hotel. The Burnham, the three-level, three meal a day restaurant, features regional American cuisine led by a powerhouse of culinary talent. Famed Cleveland chef and restaurateur Zack Bruell is consulting on The Burnham menu alongside the culinary expertise of Executive Chef, Maxime Kien from the French Cote d'Azur region, and native Ohioan Ryan Beck, the chef de cuisine.
The Hilton Cleveland Downtown experience is literally topped off with Bar 32 on the 32nd floor, offering an outdoor terrace and unparalleled views of the lake and cityscape featuring craft cocktails and artisan cheeses.
The new build hotel also offers a seamless connection to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and the Global Center for Health Innovation via an underground walkway. This approach allows easy access to over 395,000 square feet of useable space at the Convention Center, in addition to the 46,000 square feet of space at the hotel.
